Our History

We have developed a series of machines including coating machines for coating polyester films with special paints in a coloring process in metallic thread manufacturing, which is one of the local industries in Kyoto, coating machines for coating Japanese paper with lacquer that is finished in a high-heat drying oven with far-infrared heaters, and laminating machines for applications including laminating gold on the edges of shikishi, Japanese card paper.

Matsuoka Machinery Corporation in the Future

We have manufactured coating machines (coaters), calenders, unwinders, winders, drying ovens, and other processing machines for, for example, plastic films, metal foil, and nonwoven fabrics.
We are now expanding our business to new fields where we have already developed multi-coaters for R&D of rechargeable batteries, OLEDs, and LCDs, as well as 5-layer high-temperature laminators and ultra-high-pressure calenders.
