Accumulator
Accumulators are used in combination with unwinders and winders to accumulate film, increasing the time that can be used for splicing the sheet with a new sheet. The number of rolls, their height, and other details are determined based on the machine speed, the characteristics of the base material, and the splicing time.
Features
- Two types are available: a carriage type and a linear guide type. Either can be used depending on the cleanliness.
- The tension control system uses a dancer roller mechanism, allowing control with reduced fluctuations.
- Interlocked safety fences and doors are installed to prevent accidents of being caught in between.
- Used with splice cutters and for manual splicing.
