Dip Coater

The coating method involves, with a dip roll, a liquid pan, a squeeze roll, and a pump, immersing the base material in the liquid pan to allow impregnation with a coating liquid and squeezing an excess portion of the coating liquid off using a squeeze roll.

Features

  1. Allows nonwoven fabrics to be impregnated with the coating liquid.
  2. A vertical dryer is required because the coating liquid adheres to the front and back surfaces of the base material.
  3. Drying is performed together with, for example, jet nozzles and IR heaters.
  4. The amount of impregnation is controllable by adjusting the nip pressure of the squeeze roll.
