Dip Coater
The coating method involves, with a dip roll, a liquid pan, a squeeze roll, and a pump, immersing the base material in the liquid pan to allow impregnation with a coating liquid and squeezing an excess portion of the coating liquid off using a squeeze roll.
Features
- Allows nonwoven fabrics to be impregnated with the coating liquid.
- A vertical dryer is required because the coating liquid adheres to the front and back surfaces of the base material.
- Drying is performed together with, for example, jet nozzles and IR heaters.
- The amount of impregnation is controllable by adjusting the nip pressure of the squeeze roll.
