Gravure Roll

The method here involves processing the roll surface into four types of shapes: trapezoidal, hexagonal, oblique, and pyramid, according to the purpose and rotating the roll forward or reverse to form a smoothly and beautifully coated roll surface with a direct, reverse, offset, or small-diameter gravure coating method.

We conduct fully integrated internal production of gravure rolls.

Features

  1. We can prepare a coating sample using our demonstration machine and propose the best pattern for the desired film thickness at 400,000 yen.
  2. We can process sizes ranging from a diameter of ⌀20 mm to ⌀300 mm, with a total length of up to 3700 mm.
  3. The roll has a roll rotation runout of 10 μm or less (This varies based on the diameter and length. Please contact us.)
  4. HCr plating is a standard surface treatment.

Available Engravings

Oblique

This can be used when the coating liquid is highly viscous and more transferring is required. A doctor blade can be used together.

Trapezoidal

Mainly used in coating with a doctor blade, and has the larger transferred amount than the pyramid type with the same depth.
