Heat Medium Circulation Heating Roll
The method here involves causing water or oil (BARREL THERM), which is heated by an external temperature controller, to pass through the rotary joint and then the spiral groove inside the roll to heat or cool the base material.
Features
- Quicker delivery and lower cost than electric induction heating rolls.
- The roll is operable at temperatures from room temperature to 240 °C.
- The roll has higher heat uniformity within the effective surface length than rolls with sheathed heaters.
- For maintenance, internal oil must be removed.
